What I'm Looking For
I'm passionate about cocktails and the cocktail industry - both mixology and flairing. I have a broad knowledge of spirits, and am a self-proclaimed rum geek. I am constantly seeking opportunities to broaden my knowledge of spirits, mixers and other ingredients and have a flair for sharing this with others.My long-term goal is to set up and run a chain of high quality cocktail bars, with a difference. And I am already on that journey.
My short term goals include continuing to learn about mixology and add to my already considerable knowledge of cocktails and their ingredients.
My new mobile bar business, Spiritus Events, established in July 2011, provides very high quality cocktails and drinks - with either a mixology or a flair focus - for events of all kinds, including weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs, parties, corporate functions, birthday parties and media events.
As a co-director of Spiritus it is my constant aim to provide a great show and give a great experience for customers. I have an extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, which continues to grow. I have run regular training and consultancy to help other
cocktail bars train staff
and develop their cocktail recipes and menus. But flairing and cocktail
recipes are only a small part of the skills and knowledge that the most
successful cocktail bars need.
I am very enterprising and have a rare combination of creative flair and good business/sales skills. Spiritus will help me further broaden and deepen my skills, knowledge and career and welcome interest from any organisation which would like to find out more about the range of services we provide.
