What I'm Looking For

I'm passionate about cocktails and the cocktail industry - both flairing and mixology.

My long-term goal is to set up and run a chain of high quality cocktail bars, with a difference. And I am already on that journey.

My short term goals involve training intensively in mixology and in my knowledge of cocktails and their ingredients. My current position will allow me to develop my business and management skills further.

As a bar manager it is my constant aim to provide a great show and give a great experience for customers. I have an extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, though this is still growing. I have run regular training and consultancy to help other cocktail bars train staff and develop their cocktail recipes and menus. But flairing and cocktail recipes are only a small part of the skills and knowledge that the most successful cocktail bars need.

That's why I'm steadily growing a broader range of business skills and experience in order to move closer to my longer-term goal of opening my first cocktail bar. To that end I've been developing my people and general business skills, including financial planning and management, understanding the day-to-day tasks and procedures of running a small business and, most importantly, learning about running a cocktail business.
